ILALA LODGE, VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

Ilala Lodge Hotel offers luxury and comfort in the heart of Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Nestled in attractive gardens abutting the Victoria Falls National Park the hotel is a mere eight minute walk from the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and is ideally located and it is very easy for guests to access all the historical sites and tourist amenities available in Victoria Falls.

The Lodge was developed in two phases, the first stage of sixteen bedrooms being completed in 1989 in time for the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting hosted by Zimbabwe.  The second phase was completed in 1994, doubling the bed space capacity of the buildings on the original stand and incorporated additional conferencing and staff facilities.

We were commissioned by the owners, Spencer’s Creek, for architectural design, consultant co-ordination and construction project management services and final client handover.
