Stone/Beattie/Munodawafa has the enviable reputation for our ability to fully satisfy all aspects of different clients’ requirements. Our reputation is based on professional and commercial expertise together with a commitment to design excellence and client service for over thirty years.

Whilst the practice was established in the late 1980’s, the business was expanded in 2004 through the incorporation of Mills Peto Associates, Registered Architects, whose business operations in southern and central Africa extended back to the mid 1950’s. The current partnership of Penny Stone, Richard Beattie and Bokani Monodawafa was formed in 2022.

Today our practice employs a systematic approach to design and a concern for human accommodation within a rational search for appropriate technical solutions to aesthetic challenges, while taking full advantage of modern technology and computer systems so necessary in today’s climate of ‘fast track’ projects. Our capabilities cover all aspects of Architectural, Urban Design, Interior Design and Project Contract Management services which have been applied to a variety of institutional, commercial and residential projects.
